The Others - The Others

What to say about a band that is about as entertaining as Live8 is to a hungry African child?
What a motley crew of bland, talentless losers whose' idea of poetic lyricism is no more earth shattering than a child's first shite.
I prefer the shite to be honest.
For some reason, if you had been reading the NME (oh yeah-what the fuck happened to that magazine anyway?) in recent months you would be forgiven for assuming this band were fucking brilliant!! Unstoppable!! Etc etc!!
More accurately: Unlistenable.

Conclusion: Retards should not be given guitars.

Thanks for this album. Downloaded it a few days ago, but only got round to playing it this morning and haven't stopped yet. Really ace band, with an energy and punk aesthetic sadly missing in some of today's homogenised bands like The Killers and Razorlight.

I know you didn't like it, but then you didn't like FLC and Pavement, and rave over old men like Floyd.

I have now developed simple test with your page. If you rant about the album, I'll download it immediately. If you think the album is good, I can safely ignore it because I know it'll be total shite!

You should revisit The Others ... I think it is a corking album - shades of Art Brut mixed with The Vibrators. Talent is always everything LOL
