A request ... Filled! You'd better read on to find out what and who...

Hello and Welcome!
I have now achieved what I was hoping for all this time.
No I haven't found a cure for Crohn's Disease.
Nope, I didn't wake up this morning to discover a high-tech recording studio complete with a drum kit and some electric guitars.
Nope I didn't just win the lottery or find a lifetime supply of cannabis.

I did however fix that annoying problem I keep going on about with the padding between he central column (this one) and the side columns.
You probably don't know or care what I'm talking about but let it be known: Loopyjoe, the chatbox chatter extraordinaire, is the man who told me how so thank you to him.

You probably expect a music site; one which delivers to you an album of music, would at least take the time to tell you what you might expect, or, as I used to enjoy, at least to tell you what they hated about it.
To put it simply, a review or something like it.
I expect the same when I go browsing music blogs.
Not something I really find much time to do these days, when I am feeling healthy enough to be on the PC I am inevitably browsing porn, music sources for this site!

Any of you who have read my shit before now will know that I am leading up to say I have no review for this.
That's all.
It's a request.
I filled it.
End.

WHAT IS THE ALBUM??

Well, a little detective work is required of you my friends, if you are interested in this mystery..
Click here to read about the album and then go to the links below to download it.
(You could always just look at the album cover pic in this post)
I will listen to it later but I cannot get to right now cos' she-who-will-not-be-named is asleep and I can't put the stereo on. The ipod is charging.
I'll post my thoughts on it soon hehe.

OK I can now say I have become well acquainted with this album.
The verdict is a huge thumbs-up from me.
I really like this band and am now doing the usual scenario of searching out their other stuff, wanting to hear more.
So now I can most definitely recommend this album and thanks to the comment guy for requesting it.

Bob Dylan Theme Time Radio Hour S03E22 'NOAHS ARK Part 1' [HIGH QUALITY MP3]

Hey!
shit.
I still haven't fixed this damn large red letter and the columns all running into each other here. It sucks.
Can't one of you expert web designers that must drop by hee now and then, do me a favour and tell me how to change the padding between the columns? I am using the old classic, simple HTML template on blogger so I know it isn't that hard. I just can't figure it out cos my brain won't work(!)

It's theme time radio from your host, Bob Dylan.
Yet again you will find yourself getting irritated by those new codes on megaupload, that you have to type in to download. I wish they hadn't changed it but they have so, well, it gets easier as time goes by. you start to recognise the letters after a while. Trust me.
You can always use the other download links of course if it is too hard for you.
Let me know if you really can't manage to get it downloaded.
I will help you out I swear!

OK folks I am just going to post and run here cos I have just put this show on to listen to myself. Yeah yeah that's bad form but I suspect that most of you would rather I did that, than for me to wait any longer for you to be able to download and listen yourself!

The Theme is Noahs Ark Part one...
Sounds ominous. We can assume there is a part two then. that much is clear.
Looking at the playlist, not much else is clear so far but I have faith.
No, not faith in religion!

The Raconteurs - Live @ KROQ 2006 {{BOOTLEG}}

What?
Have I gone totally mad?
I mean ... another friggin' Raconteurs offering. Yeah I know. You could say it's lazy of me, not exactly straining my brain cells to think of this and offer it up for you but, being ill trumps laziness.
What I mean is, it isn't laziness but, more convenience for me, to pick something easy and to hand, whilst I hope to have a better day of health soon.

There is no getting away from the facts though people.
This is a superb band and in my opinion, any little bootleg to add to your music collection has to be a good thing!
I could only find one page about this online and to be honest its hardly worth the visit but..here.
I say 'little' as it is pretty short as they go.
It starts with an interview and then a couple of tracks...grab it and have a listen.
Hope you enjoy it.

1. Interview (live @ KROQ 2006) (0:53)
2. Level (live @ KROQ 2006) (3:26)
3. Steady, As She Goes (live @ KROQ 2006) (5:02)

[1972] Pink Floyd - From The Other Side {{Bootleg 3 ultra rare DSOTM tracks from Abbey Rd}}

Pink who?
Yeah. It does seem a bit of a long time since I was posting so much good bootlegs on here.
Oh well. this one is quite interesting.

Let me just copy the info I got with it to save you from my erratic nonsensical ramblings.

COPY & PASTE *on*

Pink Floyd
1972-06-xx
From The Other Side
Abbey Road Studios
London, England

Lineage: Golden Memories boot originals > wav > eac > shn > HQ VBR MP3 Full Stereo @ 44,000kHz
Quality: EX

Tracklist:
01. Time (6:06)
02. Brain Damage (3:24)
03. Us And Them (5:26)

Notes:
This RARE release is possibly from June 2 or June 3 sessions, done on a 16 track
recorder.
From the back cover:

3 ULTRA RARE ALTERNATIVE VERSIONS OF ...

TIME - no solo lead guitar after "starting gun" ... no Breate [sic] Reprise.
BRAIN DAMAGE - no laughing on fade up ... "lunatic is in my head" fade up is different from what precedes on record (which is chorus instead of instrumental section) ... "if cloud burst..." has lead guitar not on record ... no voice speech in next section, but lead guitar instead... lead guitar on end after "dark side of the moon".
US AND THEM - Sax solo at the beginning has different ending ... no echo on voice ... sax continues under voice into second verse ... into "forward he cried" ... and next verse, "black and blue" (record starts at "who's who" and goes to "up and down")... sax continues into "up and down" verse and into "haven't you heard" with no voice over.
On record the sax is the same take but just mixed in and out.

GOLDEN MEMORIES
SAIE 89031
ITALY 1989

COPY & PASTE *off*

Oh yeah and if you can make sense out of that then you're a better man than I.
Heh. I am guessing it wasn't written by someone with English as their first language.
no matter. It is in the listening that you get the point, not the reading.
Are you much of a Floyd fan?
Can you immediately spot these differences?
I hope so!
Anyway enjoy and look forward to more soon.

Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way,
The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say...

Bob Dylan Theme Time Radio Hour S03E21 'FAMILY CIRCLE' [HIGH QUALITY MP3]

Hello and firstly let me apologise for being a dick with the automatic playing music on this site for the past week or more.
Oops.
Just too far gone to work out what's going on most days. Illness I mean. I just realised that might sound like I am on drugs or something.
No. Only the ones I am given for the pain and that's already to much.
Still, I fixed it now.
No more forced music.

I must change the look of this place. That bloody large Capital at the start of the posts is fine but it sits too far near the edge. Anyone got more of the half brain cell I'm working with at the moment and can offer me advice on how to make the padding in the stylesheet wider so the columns and the centre don't come so close to each other?
Anyone??
Still can't believe I didn't even know about the auto music thing...
God I hate going to a website and suddenly hearing some shit that I never asked for. Although, yes I admit there has been the odd time that I've thought 'wow, that sounds good, who is it' and then investigated the band and discovered I liked them. Like I say, the 'odd' time. Which means probably twice.
So often I can't remember.

Wow.
Sunshine.
Might even let it hit my skin.

Anyway it's that time again and I'm still too ill to be up for much so I'll stop here and let the links speak for themselves.

TrackList
01 I'm My Own Grandpa - Lonzo And Oscar
02 Aunt Caroline Dyer Blues - Memphis Jug Band
03 Two Sisters - Clannad
04 Shame And Scandal - Peter Tosh

06 Little Sister - Elvis Presley

Are YOU experienced??? Well come, Experience Hendrix. { DIVX VIDEO DVD-RiP }

Hello hello hello.
Damn I am really starting to dislike the way I have this set up with the large letter at the beginning of every post.
I actually like that, it's the problem of the way the text is almost running into the borders of the columns on each side. I want to somehow make the central area have a space on each side between the side columns, if you're still with me.
I know, you really don't give a flying monkeys so let's get on with the music. Flying Monkey!

Experience Hendrix. I have raved about it. I have posted tracks from it. I have shared the mp3's ripped directly from the DVD.
Well I finally have the audacity to offer you the rip of the complete show.
I will post a wee preview for you that I sent to google video. (Now that youtube is going to delete music videos posted by UK users...grrrr).
Need I repeat the information about the Experience Hendrix Tour concept?
No, of course not. Have a look Here, Here and OK then, Here too if you really don't know what it's all about.
In a sentence: It is a collaboration of great guitarists playing a concert as a tribute to Hendrix and they only play Hendrix tunes.
There you go! Who needs wikipedia?!

A Tracklist is in order I suppose...
Kenny Wayne Shepherd & Double Trouble: "Come On (Let The Good Times Roll)," "Voodoo Chile" and "I Don't Live Today"
Indigenous: "Hear My Train A Comin"
Living Colour: "Power Of Soul" and "Crosstown Traffic"
Eric Gales: "Purple Haze"
Hubert Sumlin, Jimmy D. Lane & Double Trouble: "Bleeding Heart" and "Killing Floor"
Mitch Mitchell, Billy Cox & Andy Aledort: "Freedom"
Paul Rodgers, Mitch Mitchell, Billy Cox, Andy Aledort & Kenny Olson: "Stone Free"
Buddy Guy, Andy Aledort & Double Trouble: "Hoochie Coochie Man"
Buddy Guy, Hubert Sumlin, Andy Aledort & Double Trouble: "Five Long Years"
The Ensemble: "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)"

BONUS SONGS:
Robert Randolph & Double Trouble: "Purple Haze"
Mick Taylor & Indigenous: "Red House"
Eric Gales, Billy Cox & Buddy Miles: "Foxey Lady"

You already know what I think of Eric Gales but I swear, this video preview was chosen at random!!!
Honestly!
It just so happened that I stopped the film at Eric Gales and chopped that part out to upload to google...
