My Fave Pogues

To the fella asking 4 this lot. Well done, sir. This is my absolute fave of theirs.
Produced by Elvis Costello. Some of their best ever tracks.
Elvis was asked if he'd produce them again and he said no cos u can only marry the bass player once... teehee

The blog that claimed to be inspired by this blog(and then disgustingly, overtook us in hitcount within a month or two) SuddenlyLastSummer, is gone. Pity. I actually liked checking his pages out. Obviously TheBogusMan had poor musical tastes but, well ... you can't get everything right.
hehe.
we await the newer, better, more stylish blog!

Does anyone feel sad about George Best?
Not me.
Is this dangerous ground to tread?
I mean, are there more people who sympathise with a post liver transplant alcoholic who openly said he didn't give a shit about anything much, han there are people who loved the guy just because of a fucking sport??!!
Fuck sport!
It is, after all just a collective noun for a bunch of dumb games where a few retards inevitably use a ball in some way to prove their egos and manliness to each other and it gives the man in the street a chance to get all primitive and revert back to a tribal landscape that he never once knew...erm...when he was known as cro-manon man. Or something.
Fuck football.
It doesn't come close to being some kind of reason to crown this best guy as some kind of king. A king who, essentially, removed the chance of life from someone who was suffering just as bad as he was and yet ironically, probably would have recovered fully and still have been alive today, he would still have been dead by today so in essence, he gained nothing and took something.#
I know it was just a single organ. A liver transplant. Not is fault if there's loads of people waiting for them. Not his fault he managed to get one faster that they can.
It is his fucking fault that he continued to drink and ruin the transplanted organ until it failed and he was riddled with infection after infection.
I don't think he deserved to die. I think he didn't want to live. He should then, have chosen a different method of suicide.
Or maybe I don't really give a shit.

Cold Morning Music Pt.1

Don't know where u live but pretty soon my 'nads are going to be dragging in the snow...for at least 4 or 5 months...
So i need sounds to get me, and my 3yr old, outta bed and up and bopping in the a.m. This band fits the bill just right – they sound like a bunch of demented 9-year-olds given loads of instruments and then had the god of funkiness bless them...u wot?
U can leave a comment on this one if u want, but if u don't i still won't give a fuck...

Spoon - Soft Effects [EP 1997] ||| Ozzy Osbourne - Under Cover [2005]

Is it just me or have we reached that point in time where, as much as a lovely guy he truly is and what a life he has led..ho hum lets exhaust any sympathy we have for him and get round to admitting that: Ozzy Osbourne CAN'T FUCKING SING!
We all got to know and love him through his selling of his family through the wonders of MTV. We all cringed as he dribbled out pseudo-english and almost fell around whilst engaging in the strangest complex mixture of mannerisms ever witnessed this side of an insane institution. We all felt horribly sad and a bit guilty when we learned of his quad-bike accident. We even felt a little emotional about his song with his daughter.
Well I have fucking had ENOUGH of this SHIT!
I listened to his new album and i can't help thinking about the guys in the recording studio when they were making it. I bet they had to keep going 'Ozzy, erm..not quite right mate. Can you try just making your voice a bit quieter'. (hmm we better fill this part in with loads of background instrumentation) (again).
The whole thing sounds like an unfortunate situation with a Downs syndrome 'victim' and a microphone, given a karaoke machine and carte blanch to go for it.
AArrgghh!
He sings like he is tone deaf and has no singing voice whatsoever.
I mean, you know how eloquent his talking voice is right?
Well, just imagine a deaf person singing their heart out and the rest of the band constantly trying to either drown him out or work around it to some degreee and you've almost got the essence of this album.
Personally I prefer the bat's head eating Ozzy.
At least that guy had balls.
This one sounds retarded.

Oh and one more thing that really pissed me off: He is doing covers of some great songs. Murdering ever bastard one of them.
It should be an arrestable offence.
More so than eating a bats head!!!

Enjoy this great Spoon EP won't you!

The Triplets of Belleville [2003] DVD-Rip.DivX [English]

Ok my friends(and even those that think I suck).
This is it.
The big one.
I spent a long time on this you bastards..

Mozarts Requiem: Well I wasn't overly keen on it but hey, it broadened my horizons and I listened to it. Someone mentioned in the comments to that earlier post about this movie and how you really appreciate the music when you see this great film.
They were not wrong.
You really appreciate a lot of things when you see this movie. You appreciate how good an animated film can be. Especially one that has no fucking egomaniacal american characters like friggin sharks or shreks or whatever...!

This is artful yet accessible. If you know what I mean. It is also very funny and emotional too.
Lets face it, you wont get me to say a bad thing against it!

So I strongly urge you to download it as fast as you can.
If you have a dynamic IP address(dont worry what that means, most people DO have one) then to download from RS multiple times an hour you do this:
1. Download a file the usual way.
2. wait til it is downloaded ok!
3. Go OFFLINE.
4. Go into your internet explorer propereties dialog. (you can right-click the Iexplorer icon on desktop and select properties if you like).
5. It should be at the TAB titled 'GENERAL' when you open the p[roperties. that is the TAB we want it at.
6. Press the DELETE COOKIES button.
7. Make sure you deleted them!
8. Go back online after waiting around a minute or even two to be sure. (this is because when you go offline, another PC somewhere on your ISPs list is given the IP number that you just had when you were online, when you wait and go back, you are given or allocated a 'new' IP number. If you go back immediately you are given the same number right away so it is best to wait a minute at least ok)
9. Click on the next link or paste it into your browser, for the next file from RS.
Go back to Instruction number 1.

This is all I do and I can DL from there all day.
If you also use a program called UltraShare Downloader, it will monitor your clipboard for when you copy a RS link, then it will put the RS links into a queue for you and DL them one at a time. This makes it even easier as when it has gotten each file you just have to cut in and do the offline, cookies.online thing. The rest is left up to the USdownloader. Get it here

The movie ...first my part in it!
I got a hold of the full DVD edition with dual audio streams and subtitiles etc and there was NO WAY I was going to upload that for you!! 4.3Gigs??!!
However, it would seem that not only am I an excellent PC fixer-cum-builder-cum-nerd type person, I am also a fuckin' excellent DVD to DivX ripper/encoder.
The movie is available for all of you in glorious DivX format and MP3 audio.
To the uninitiated, that means it will play on your PC and you can easily make a VCD for your DVD player out of it too!
The quality is excellent. My personal guarantee on it.

A short synopsis from some random webshite:
Acclaimed as perhaps the most inventive and well-crafted animated feature ever, Triplets has quite a reputation to uphold. As the story goes, a boy named Champion goes to live with his grandma who encourages his love of cycling. She pushes him to enter the Tour de France once he's of age, unwittingly enabling an evil plan by the French mafia to kidnap him. Hot on his trail, Grandma and her faithful pooch encounter some eccentric '30s film sirens who aid their search.
(doesn't exactly 'big it up' does it?!)

The download..
There are 15 files all in. Each file is 50MB at [RS] and the final part is about 28MB. Using the system above you should be able to DL it in a few hours depending on your net speed.
Please PLEASE! do not post the links elsewhere....
Not because of frigging 'link stealing' I just want the people who mentioned the movie to at least be able to get it. I know the links will be everywhere within a day anyway but I just hope the folks here get a chance at them. I may well start posting movie req' instead or as well as MP3...
As well as, for sure.

Can't stop the music..NO WAY!

Horses and …

Bear with me on this…

Randy Crawford : who doesn’t know her ? Actually, I was 16 when… bla, bla, bla… Now, I COULD tell you a story of how I first got in touch with this music BUT… I’m just too lazy !

So, download and listen to Randy Crawford : I really couldn’t decide what kind of music this is : is it jazz ? Is it easy listening ? Or is it just plain crap ? It’s up to you to decide.

Enjoy !

Putumayo presents Dublin To Dakar [1999] & Fight Club OST

Dublin To Dakar,A Celtic Odyssey.

You know I like my Putumayo Collections. It's been a while since the last one and, I am pleased to announce, that today I found some of the more requested ones so I will actually be fulfilling at least a couple of requests!
Getting back to the album for today though..
This one is a strange mix of music but it works.
From the cover:
'African, Gypsy, Latin, Arabic, Indian, Scandinavian and Reggae elements are combined with Celtic music to create a unique, cross-cultural musical feast.'
I think that about covers it.
Enjoy.

You asked for OST's. Well I don't have any. I did spot this link somewhere though so you might be interested..

Fight Club Original Sound Track.
All the links you see at that page..right-click them and save each one to your PC. It is simply a list of MP3 files.
(That was for the people who aren't complete nerd- computer heads with no life that don't know how to download a complete website whilst sleeping, encoding video files, uploading via ftp, logged into a shell account on telnet, scanning for a pub or wingate, ripping a DVD or playing around with some extravagant graphice program that is far too advanced for them and that they will never really learn how to use properly).
So what I am trying to say is, that advice was for all the people out there that aren't like myself
Heh.
Well I have the POWER in my PROCESSOR so why not USE IT?
At this point the Nerdfactor goes right off the scale...........

The Triplettes of Bellville DVD-Rip to DivX (by me!) is coming this way really soon...............

This one reminds me of my last(MISTAKE) Girlfriend....

Limp Bizkit - Greatest Hitz [2005]

Upbeat American Youth full of angst and by the looks of it, trying to remind whoever it is that follows them that they did actually do some pretty catchy and rockin' tunes at some point.
Why else bring out a greatest hits album when you are barely qualified to have any??!
Anyway their name rhymes with 'Limp Wristed' which is a bit stange...

...makes me wonder of what Freud would have made of it.

I kind of like some of these tunes but generally they are just another band like so many generic clone american 'rock' full of shit bands.

Try it but DONT buy it.

Who thinks Jaggers a cnut?

Hello again, 'This here,

I came across this a while ago, can't remember where...but thanx ;)
I'd never heard of an un-released\outtakes 'Stones album, have u?
Well worth a listen – particulary "Pay My Dues" as its an earlier version of "Street Fighting Man".
The reason it was not released is unclear but it might have something to do with the chorus in Andrews Blues (Andrew Loog Oldham was their manager then) which consists of them shouting that he should "Suck it, Andrew, suck it". Hehehe
Enjoy – and pls DON'T LEAVE A COMMENT 'cos i don't give a flying fuck....

[1984] Pat Metheny - Works

Here's more proof that we're NOT stealing links... !

I guess you’re all familiar with Pat Metheny ? Are you ?

I discovered this artist years ago… and was very much impressed (still am) ! His music is rather… fluid, easy. A lot of guitar, of course ! Just the kind of music one needs after yet another computer hiccup. Kristiaan, I sincerely advise you to download this album…

Just give it a try ; the music is very accessible ! More info about Pat Metheny : here.

LINK STEALING and retarded primates

Let us first of all clarify something. A link on a website, is a shared resource. Unless it has a password that only certain folk know of, the file a link points to is anyones file. Therefore there is no such concept as 'Link Stealing'.
anyway before anyone wants to even attempt to argue that point with me, it i irrelevant because ALL of the files offerred on this site are uploaded and, check if you like, TAGGED with the MP3@3PM text and NFO file. That measn that the files have been arranged and checked and tagged for you by the members of this site.
Now, if you think we go and buy every album that we offer you here then you are less than fool! Of course we must find a lot of the albums here, on the internet.
So now that makes me think that the people who accused a member(after he posted THREE fucking REQUESTED albums!!) of 'Link Stealing' from some other site, must be referring to the fact that maybe one of those albums is available for download somewhere else.
Well what a fucking surprise that would be huh?
The same album dowloadable from more than one blog or website??!!
Never!
He might well have gotten it from there himself but he would then have taken the file and checked its integrity and tagged it and then uploaded it himself, here, so that the site has all its own uploaded links.
Personally I abhor these fuckheads that moan on and on about 'stealing my links' and 'please give me credit for all my hard work if you steal my links'.
Oh grow up you retarded primate!
I'm not sure on the actual laws on link stealing right but, when you use a link and then by that link you download a file....then you change the file in some way and then upload it somewhere else......
...is it still the same link?
No of course it isn't so this rant is as irrelevant as the complete arseholes that went on at my HitME brother and, coupled with a lack of respect generally for his posts so far, has helped him decide that it is not for him so he won't be filling any more requests or making any more uploads. Nice going.
He removed the post too so don't go making any requests for spoon this week...you missed it!

I know there are good people who come by here and I know there are some genuinely decent people. It is a shame, like everywhere else in life, the fucking arseholes...the AOL generation...the 'Lack of Respect' generation seem to inflict their imbecilic nature on the rest and somehow manage to taint the whole experience for those that are qualified to enjoy it, (unlike them) .

If you have another site and want to speak to ME about fucking 'link stealing' just do it right now.
I am ready for you you fucking panty-sniffing tweaker.

Music links tomorrow.
And hey ...I was wondering about taking on members again so maybe I will. Just an idea I am playing around with but I think a few more on board would be great..
Interested? Email me then..link at the top right. Tell me what music you really like in the email for starters.
Ciao.

Cafe Arabesque - VA ||| Coldplay - Every Album! (yuk!)

I really don't feel like explaining this one. It's pretty obvious isn't it. It's more of that BRILLIANT arabic influenced chill-out up-yet-down-tempo beat music and I would force you to listen to it, if I could. As I can't I will just assume you have the intelligence to realise something is agreeable and take it. Especially since it is free.

I love this album.
Double CD of lazy hazy sleepy dancey tunes.
Thats my attempt at conveying it to you.

Now, as much as it nauseates me I found these links to some *yeuurgh!* Coldplay *Yeuurgghh!* Albums and judging by the hype following sheep-like knob-lets out there, I presume you will thank me for it. You are sick. Chris Martin is not even a role model for his own psyche. He is unable to speak out for anyone. Believe me. His lips shit. Faecal, that's what he is. Purely Faecal.
Anyway here's the fucking links..

The Music Of Islam Vol 6 -Marrakesh, Morocco || The Passenger (Covers)

Hello my friends. I know some of you would be hard pushed to call the low down dirty likes of me a friend in real life but, suspend your perceptions of reality for a minute: after all this isn't reality. You thought it was?
Shame on you.

I thought it was about time for another selection and the next in succession of The Music From Islam series, of which there are about 15 in all. This one, Volume 6, is another great collection. It is called 'Al-Maghrib, Gnawa Music Marrakesh, Morrocco' and seems to bring with it a beautiful atmosphere which, in my case, makes me wander off into a world where I could quite easily be there, in Marrakesh, sniffing some of the local produce(and I really mean INHALING here!) and lazing about in the sun, visiting the Bazaars and buying, bartering, haggling for cheap imported Asian trinkets! The smells, sounds, hustle & bustle. It's all there. One day I may yet see it with my own eyes.
I hope you do too.

Give this one a try for your own sake. If you missed the previous volumes don't worry. I will be reposting the complete collection again after I get to Vol.15.
CHECK OUT THIS PANORAMIC IMAGE LINK of a haggling market! Cool!!

And now… something completely different !

No more pc’s, no more fireworks, no more music, no mo… Oops… sorry guys ! I guess that is the reason why you’re here, isn’t it ?

And what’s that about fireworks ? Don’t you love fireworks ? I, myself, simply adore to find myself in the middle of a crowd of thousands that come to a free fireworks festival each year in my town. All like sardines in a can, packed together… Lovely !

NOT !

Well, for those (like myself) that just hate fireworks, my doctor prescribed a very effective medicine : download and listen to Haendel’s ‘Music For The Royal Fireworks’ !

What’s that ? Classical music ? Again ? Yes ! Learn to live with it ! There’s more than Metallica and Rammstein…which, by the way, I also appreciate.

Anyway, back to music now…

Have you ever heard of Mathilde Santing ? Well here she is :

Mind you, this picture was taken some 23 years ago so I guess she must look like an old woman by now. Although 47 isn’t really old. Is it ?

You could say her music is pop, or even electro, or even… But why don’t you give it a try ? You just might get addicted to her...

You can find more about Mathilde here.

The Dead 60's (2005)

First of all, I have a gripe. The music here is for YOU, but it doesnt magically appear. Its not difficult to find, but still takes a small effort to upload and post on here. So if you download the music, at least make a small effort in return by making a comment - whether positive or negative. Without feedback I'm gonna lose interest. Ok, on to the music...

This is a great debut album (in my opinion) by Liverpool group The Dead 60's. Difficult to pinpoint exactly what genre, although a definite ska/reggae influence is apparent in most tracks, with a bit of funk and rock thrown in to form a distinctive sound.

My NEW PC!

Ok folks. (Is anyone reading this shit anymore..? quiet around here lately)
I know you are not as much of a nerd as myself but I am going to prove just how much of a sad nerd I am by posting images of my first ever home built PC, wether you like it or not!

I will refrain from going on about the specs but lets just say I have a
3.00Ghz Prescott Pentium 4 E (which is running at a cool 36C and not much over 49-51C on full pelt)
1Gb 3200 DDR Ram
LOTS of HDD space with my new 160Gb drive to go with the others I have..80Gb, 40Gb, 10Gb
Oh I dont do games except small arcade type ones so the videocard is an ATI Radeon 9550 which is surprisingly good!
I think that will do if I just mention the Pioneer 110 DVD and CD RW plus it takes Dual Layer DVDs too. Mmm.
Put that onto my 2Mbit Broadband and it is literally flying!!

Here are the pics...isn't it lovely?!

The front panel tells you the temperature of the videocard, CPU and Motherboard.

I have some great music to post very soon ok. I am still pretty disappointed with the lack of interaction around here. Does it really take that long to post a message of thanks or something? These new guys have upped some great stuff for you lot. Think about it. the more people postiing albums here, the more albums you can get here. Don't ruin it by making them feel no one appreciates they do. Just a thanks, that's all.
Anyway, my PC is better than your PC.

Didn't you think that reggae Bedouin soundclash are just great??!

Bedouin Soundclash - Sounding A Mosaic [2005]

Right. Even though no one is bothering to make the new guys at least feel worth something and even though I am feeling like I'm being slowly parboiled in other peoples excesses of ridiculous extravagance (fireworks), I am going to give you a real treat of a(quite) new band.
But wait..
Fireworks.

While we're on the subject: What the FUCK is that all about eh?
I mean, WHY???
Is it really that much F-U-N?
I doubt it sherlock. I have more fun cringe'ing at the fuckers that are standing around in the bollock freezing cold pretending to be enjoying themselves. God I hate that.
You think fireworks are magical when you are a kid right. OK. That's fine. You believe in Santa Claus too...
But twinkly explosions in the freezing night sky must surely become fucking tedious, bordering on the repulsive in fact, after about twnety years of hearing those stupid, bangs.
Stop getting cold and bored and just give it up you twats.

T
here are generally only two types of firework:
Either LOUD AS FUCK variety which are inevitably pointless (except to show off to your neighbours how much wasted cash you spent on them) OR those cheap shit ones that fire off into someones ground floor window with a pissy screaming sound before burning out like a sparkler that has been thrown against the wall whilst at the same time forcing all the onlookers(is that the proper 'firework perusers' collective term?) to pretend even harder and act like it really wasn't so cheap, it really was a good show, honest.

Here I sit, listening to the sheer enjoyment that is going on all around for miles and miles. Pure ecstatic glee for sure.
Fuck! these people must be creaming themselves at the very number of different 'Bangs' that are to be heard.
What a load of old toss.

Do they even know and or care why they are doing it?
Why in November?
Why explosions?
I will assume YOU know but I just want to remind you that the whole Guy Fawkes thing...it was terrorism.
Simple -failed act of terrorism.
And now we fucking celebrate it.
Well I don't.

(I care less about terrorism than standing around in the fucking cold though)

Music!

This band is just too good for a Canadian band. Nothing against Canada of course but let's be honest...do you know ANYTHING amazing or clever to have surfaced from that place??
Me neither.
Anyway this guys voice sounds very Marley-ish. Only just not too much so that you'd think he was trying to copy the great Bob Nesta. Enough to give him a great vocal to go along with the smooth and bass filled reggae beats to be found herein.
Probably the best newish band I have had the pleasure of thus far.
You WILL listen to this.
Go on..leave a comment.

Or stick a firework up your arse.
See if I care.

The 22-20's - 22-20's [2005]

Was this requested?....cant remember, but who cares. Three lads from Lincolnshire with an impressive blues/rock album. The sound is a lot like the 'Stones at times, but thats hardly detrimental. A definite 'keeper' for me.

Longwave - There's A Fire ¦¦ Madeleine Peyroux - Careless Love

A poor attempt at brit-pop(ish)/indie shite. Weak vocals, monotonous melodies…on the whole, tiresome. But then, I only got this because it was requested here, so at least ONE person will be happy.

Another request filled. This is the latest album (2004) from jazz singer/songwriter Madeleine Peyroux. She has come a long way since starting her music 'career' passing the hat for a group of street musicians. A very pleasant mixture of vintage jazz/blues, some of which were written by herself, others by various artists such as Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen.
