Hear My Train a Comin' - Jimi Hendrix Acoustic 12-string video. !TOP CLASS!

Found this on one of those crappy 'stream this video but you can't have it for keeps' sites and well, I got it. Converted to XviD and kept the same quality.
At only 24Mb, it's a steal.

Absolutely brilliant watching him acoustic like this, just sitting on a chair and playing. Mellow stuff.

Ricky Gervais Podcast Series One (1) Episodes 1 to 12

Aloah.
Note: I actually believed this was a REAL genuine McDonalds ad. Funny that.Typically insulting, not much difference to their past and present mind-fucking ad campaigns.
Don't forget to fuck McDonalds over though right: Don't go there and if you can, do something nasty to your nearest outlet. The fuckers.
Here's a nice one that helps you to visualise the whole thing...

As requested far too many times by far too many people, here are all of the recent Ricky Gervais podcasts.... that is, series 1. If you want series two it's here already, go and look.

Enjoy. The quality is fairly consistent...I think a couple of times I made it stereo and then realised it made it smaller if mono with no noticable difference..then I reduced the bitrate to 56 or 40. It sounds great, trust me.
I better go, I think I have a life.

Infected Mushroom - Stretched EP [2005] + Fast Food...is it Controlling You?

I heard this band a while ago and loved it right away. It's a complete gear shift up from the Putumayo and Islam series folks so get used to it. No place for complacency. We need some action around here and this, I'm afraid to say (well no actually, not afraid at all) to those that don't want to hear it, is it!

To everyone with an open mind and an ear(or heart) for good solid beats and striking melody, enjoy this one.
Upbeat. I think they call it psy-trance or some shit.
I call it fucking techno something or other. It's all music.
Wow...makes me think back to my Ecstacy days.
Hmm. Better not eh.
Guess what - Direct HTTP LINKS!
Wow...Get them fast.

01. Shakawkaw (Mayumana Remake Live)
02. Stretched (Album Mix)
03. Cities Of The Future (Time Lock Rmx)
04. The Beauty And The Beat
-----------------------------------------------

Yep we have something else for you too...

I just finished reading a fascinating book and I am forced by duty, to tell you all about it.
The book in question: Fast Food Nation. Have a look here for details: Interview with the Author
In short, this book sets out to get right to the facts about the whole fast food industry; from what is in the meat(yuk!) to how the beef farmers are more or less strangled out of business or kept in low profit business by the whims of the fastfood corporate network which, you might be surprised to learn, has a hand in so many aspects of your countrys finances, government decisions -regarding public health(and how far they can go as far as allowing bacteria and contaminants to enter YOUR food!), schools(even advertising fastfood inside school walls to make up their low budgets!), workers unions(they sack any workers who even try to get together to gain more rights!), to the mass heavy farming of vast areas of land across the world that used to be the bread and butter of the people who lived there for years...they came in with their mass production or mass buying power and requirements and pretty much forced the little men out of business forever. They use chemicals for every tinge of flavour in every single 'component' in their 'food' (I say component because a McDonalds meal isn't a meal, it's a collection of seperate 'things' put together to resemble a meal...everything added to create something that appeals...for all the wrong reasons.) They buy tastes from labs...when they introduce a new item, it is like the same items they already sell but a different way of processing the Heavily fed meat product and a new batch of chemical taste 'flavours' to make it like food.

As well as all of that, as if that isn't enough! They have led to what we now see as the worst type of chickens ever on the planet...we have chickens being fed up with a high protein grain with god knows what kind of shit in it..antibiotics to stop illness from the cramped conditions they are 'grown' in.(They actually call these high production chicken farms places where they 'GROW' chickens. And to GROW a chicken from a chick to a fully ready to eat adult?
6 fucking weeks.

This can cause their legs to be far to weak to support their massivley unnaturally huge bodies at such a young age. See:

Check this one. This is a HEALTHY Populated Factory Farm:

Go look it up on google. It does not take 6 weeks for a chicken to become adult! If you want maximum profits it does. Fuck the chicken. Incase you are thinking I am a vegan, vegetarian or animal saviour, WRONG!
It isn't that.
Consider this: The chicken that is produced is actually much higher in fat and LOWER in protein(the reason a lot of people eat chicken as opposed to meat right?). So, in essence they feed the birds in cramped, factory conditions with unnatural high protein grain and did I mention anabolic steroids that focus on the birds breasts..? yep, that makes the bird look better on the supermarket shelf. People like the breast of chicken. Anabolic steroids are good at swelling muscle tissue!
Pity its got more fat and water than anything else!!
Then they process it. Fuck me that deserves a chapter on its own(which the book gives it!). Preshaped, prepacked, prefucking everything later...it makes it to McDonalds where the staff who are severely underpaid, not allowed to have any of the basic rights of other workers the world over, unfreeze the shit and hand it to you, taking your cash and handing it back to big fat-I-don't-give-a-fuck-about-anyone-MR MCDONALD!

I could go on all night but I won't.
I probably already lost more than half of you already but I need to say this.
The one thing I fucking detest about these bastards is that they advertise to children. They do it blatantly and purposefully. They say that if you can get a kid to find comfort in McDonalds and the golden(fucking) arches when they are young....as a place they love and feel it is warm and happy then they will be a customer for life. Any time, in later life, when they are feeling down or at a loss -they might not realise it but- they will go to McDonalds.
They give away toys with fucking 'happy meals' ! Some happy meals actually contain more fucking FAT and rubbish than some of the adults meals!
Not just toys...fucking part of a set! So your kid gets one and then has to 'collect 'em all'!!!
Makes my fucking blood boil.

WHY HAVE YOU ALL BOUGHT INTO IT?

There are so many reasons that these uncaring, pavement fouling fatcat bastards MUST BE STOPPED and the best way I and you and you can do it is very very simple.
PLEASE. STOP BUYING IT.
I'm NOT LOVIN' IT and NEITHER ARE YOUR CHILDREN.
================
================

And...
...
..........relax.

Thank you.

Now I have to power down this machine, remove the cover and then take out the processor. Arrgghh. then clean off the heatsink and CPU, apply some arctic silver to thewm and then put all back together...a good valeting job of the inside of the case might be in order also.
The reason?
Well, for no apparent reason lately, my 'amazing super PC' as I called it once, has been reaching temperatures, under full 100% Processor load, of...wait for it....80 degrees Centigrade!
That is erm, not exactly healthy!
It is a 3Ghz Intel P4 Prescott processor and these are known to run hot but this is a bit TOOOO HOT!
Hopefully I can get this done and be back before you can say 'When the fuck are you going to start updating this site a bit more seriously?!'!
Bye then....or

Ricky Gervais Podcast Episode 4 , Series 2.

This one is not as funny, especially if, like me you have heard all of the old radio shows etc because a lot of the content in this podcast are topics they have covered in the past. So already it seems they are running out of material? relying on the old classic subjects that KArl cannot fathom, which were funny once before so they must be funny again. Maybe to first time listeners but I don't like hearing the same thing twice.
Anyway here it is...I decreased the size a bit as its in pointless stereo...yet mono makes no difference.
Enjoy. Good music is on the way I promise.
Nice to see not one person commenting on the cirque album.
You bunch of weirdos!

Cirque Du Soleil - Saltimbanco [1992] & Putumayo: CUBA [1999]

This is a bit of a gem for you. My womanfriend who is to remain forever nameless, asked me why I never listened to her CDs. Of course the answer was that I was obsessed with collecting and listening to MP3s having almost forgotten about CDs in general. Well she got this one and told me I might be pleasantly surprised. Hmm...

I already covered the American Indian New Age Bollocks right so don't worry, it isn't that kind of music but some of it might be mistakenly termed 'new age' though it would be wrong. This album is the soundtrack to a live Circus/show which they put on in theatres throughout the world.!
It is a stunning collection of uplifting and relaxing melodies. Some are almost operatic whilst others are electric guitar and a fusion of ambience with rock, if you like.
I am glad I listened to this and couldn't wait to send it to you here.
Don't miss the chance to hear something that stands out amongst the generic crap called music these days.
I wont beg for comments but fucking hell...you know what? I like talking, debating etc and it would be good to hear what you think of this album.
Oh and I'd love to go see the show in theatres. Have a look at the Cirque Du Soleil website and have a look. There is a short film clip there that gives you an idea of what their show is about. It is circus but very contemporary art, with the music and acrobatics and the stunning reviews they get, I am looking out for when they are next in the UK.

I really should point out that I know a lot of this album sounds like spyro gyra or whatever their fucking name is, and yes it has synthesizers too! but I didn't say it was my all time favourite album, just that now that I have heard it, I will probably listen to it now and again... If my womanfriend was to play it every day, it would be perfectly inoffensive to me. I might even enjoy it. Definitely.
Confused?

Enjoy!

Ricky Gervais Podcast . EPISODE 3, SERIES 2 {the paid for version}

HAVE YOU DONE THE POLL?

Ricky Gervais podcast episode 3
-with Karl Pilkington and Steve Merchant.

I listened to this one last night and it got me laughing so much at one point. Brilliant. I find I am going off Gervais a bit, like I said before, I used to almost worship him for his comedy but lately I suspect it's going to his head. Steve Merchant is a funny guy and as for Karl, well he's mad but always good for a laugh.
Sorry about the crap file last night, I fluffed it. Good quality mp3 up now, made it a bit smaller too with no sound loss..

Enjoy the third podcast!

Ricky Gervais Podcast . EPISODE 2, SERIES 2 {the paid for version}

HAVE YOU DONE THE POLL?

I know some hate the Gervais man and some love him. I used to love him and sadly thought I would start a new religion at one point as my listening to him or watching him became like a symptom of obsessive compulsive disorder. Anyway..it has to be said that over the course of his success he has become somewhat of a twat. He used to bgar about his golden globe awards and other things he had won for 'The Office' series and it used to be funny. Nowadays it seems that he really is that sad that he is blatantly bragging, like a schoolboy. Hmm then he has this annoying habit of name-dropping famous people(as if anyone, well anyone with an ounce of sense that is, gives a flying fuck about so called celebrities anyway) whenever he can get it into the conversation. I think he is just a child that hasn't grasped the concept of adulthood yet. Maybe that is why he can be so funny. Seeing the world from such a childish viewpoint would be pretty funny.
Now though he is acting like a child but its annoying, not funny.
I say if Karl Pilkington was to carry on this podcast, selling it too, the people who are enjoying listening to it now would gladly carry on buying it WITHOUT Ricky-superman-Gervais even in it.
Stephen Merchant on the other hand, has kept his feet and his mind, firmly where he started. He doesn't brag or act like a tosser any more than he used to when he first appeared on radio with Ricky.
World calling Ricky Gervais: Calm down and stop being a fucking idiot or you will fall quicker than you managed to rise up!

Enjoy the second podcast my friends.....

Jack Johnson - Three Albums

I will just excuse myself from this post by saying I firmly believe that Mr Johnson does not deserve a place in the history of music. His abilities are limited and so is my interest after hearing one fucking track for about 20 seconds. This sucks but hey!.. You might well ask what I am doing uploading such toss in the first place...well we all have a family member who, knowing what an internet geek we be, ask for this album or that.

THE MUSIC OF ISLAM - Volume Fourteen: Mystic Music Through the Ages

PLEASE VOTE IN THE POLL!

The title of this one seems a bit ominous so I'll give you a little bit of what I found written on it...
Apologies first as this is just a copy&paste from the official site...Not that I don't think you could have found it yourself or anything!

'This volume focuses on the mystic music of the Islamic world—specifically Turkish mystics. To Westerners, Islamic mysticism is practically synonymous with Sufism. Sufi poetry and music have endured for centuries in various Islamic countries. In the mystical brotherhoods music always had a revered and acknowledged place. Although the term music is never used in mystical writings, but rather listening—voice, gesture and musical instruments are all aids to the devotee in his spiritual exercise, which leads him to ecstasy and to supreme union with God. In every case, the music draws its inspiration from the text, and its structure from a sophisticated set of modes, rhythms, and traditional forms.

The tracks on this recording literally date from the V-XIV/11th-20th centuries featuring many famous compositions such as Tekbir and Salavat-i Serife, known throughout the Islamic world as two of the masterworks of one of Turkey's greatest composers. Also featured are ilahis (hymns), excerpts of the sema ritual and dhikr (zikr in Turkey) ceremonies. Completing the volume is a vocal performance of Surah 19, Ayet 115-117 of the Qur'an
'

My review(!abuse of the term!) of this one is simply.: Aaaah. Love it.

Ricky Gervais Podcast . the paid for version.

As most interent users who share my sense of humour or just the ones who take the time to read a bit of net news now and again, will be aware of the Ricky Gervais podcast and how it entered the Guinness Book of Records as being the most downloaded podcast ever, (or 'so far') .
Well It pissed me off a tad when I heard that, one of the things that made their podcast so popular and something they used to tell you often enough when promoting it, the fact that it was FREE, has now been revised.
They obviously didn't get their earnings from the countless selling of 'The Office' to different networks and DVDs and all the rest of it. I am all for capitalism(don't quote me on that) but I think there is a time when greed should take a rest.
Something which starts out as a free show, a half hour show, should stay that way(in an ideal world maybe I hear you say? Well not quite, they can afford it so why not?!).
So that is the reasoning I give for buying it myself(!!) and giving it to you, for FREE.

THE MUSIC OF ISLAM - Volume Twelve: Music of Iran

PLEASE VOTE IN THE POLL!

As I post this one I am wondering just how many unintelligent americans have decided to boycott my site. Posting something that has the words Islam in the title can be quite insulting/frightening/horrific, possibly threatening to the average unintelligent american.
Note: I mean the average unintelligent american and not that the average american is unintelligent!! I am ONLY speaking about the americans that are unintelligent here ok, so if that isn't you, don't be offended.
I have had a few emails about my supposed islam loving and other names the unintelligent have called me.
(Fucking reprobates)...I am surprised they even know how to use windows and manage to get online!
So now I am on to volume twelve and, arrgghhh! it contains the word IRAN in the title!
Say goodbye to another hundred ignoramuses that think Iran is a threat.
Don't get me wrong here, I think Iran is a threat. Indeed I do. Yet I also know America and the UK are a threat too. I still like british and american music and no less Iranian music so fuck it all.
This isn't about politics! It's about music damnit!

Enjoy volume twelve... read about it here
