There is no Theme Time show as yet - as soon as I can get a GOOD copy I will place it here as I did last week OK.
So here is your pre-easter from me, The Dylan Telecasts (Disc#1) XviD encoded DVD-RiP.

If the above specs aren't looking good enough to you then I suppose I understand...I kind of pushed the limits but it is a good encode and the source really is crappy scratchy old grainy stuff anyway so don't build your hopes up on the DVD being much better if I do get to posting that. I recommend you just take this and see it. Here is a cut section as a sample for you from the XviD:

Watch this space in the coming week or two. There will be a lot of work involved though, so it won't be instantly uploaded. I mean, 5 DVDs to rip, to divx or xvid, split or rejoin the files, pack them in rars and then painstakingly upload them bit by bit..then they will be posted!

This is fantastically cool, I was watching some of this with my father (fan of his Bobness for over forty years) a few nights ago and am downloading as a christmas surprise for him. O.K. maybe for myself too. Anyhoo please do the DVD it would be hugely appreciated. Thanks and bye.

Now, about the posting of the full DVD instead of an avi file of it.
I was planning to have all of the ripped DVDs posted by christmas but if I were to stop the uploading of those, to upload the full DVD of this one, it would slow things down by quite a bit!
I will just say that yes - I will post the DVD of this but only AFTER I have posted more of the rest of the discs in the set of 6. Which will be posted as Rips of the DVDs but, I now rip them as double avi files, 700mb each so the quality is great.

It is a brilliant place where you can enter the world of trading and swapping bootleg DVD videos of Bob Dylan. You can join up, it's free and people there will even help you start your collection by offering to send you something off their list if you just cover the blank discs and postage. After that you can offer a trade of what you have for other discs and so build up a collection.
I do hope to continue and post the next one of these soon but I still have to do the rip of the disc and had PC problems lately I need a new one that's the problem! Heh. Soon...
I can still rip the DVD though :)
I have Renaldo and clara somewhere I am almost 95% sure of it. Let me get back to you on it.

I DO have it so it is just a matter of er...finding it in the pile of DVDs that are threatening to push me out of my own home(!!) and then copying it over and of course the uploading will take a bit of time. I wish this damn illness would just *****!!! heh!
But then, life goes on. We all have our shit to contend with I know. Sometimes this illness can ramp up the volume and the symptoms can become much more debilitating, which is where I am with it just now and have been for a few months now.
I mentioned that I have to consider whether to take a new drug or not and, consider the risk of cancer that comes with it. It is a tiny TINY risk but I seem to be getting consumed by the thought of it - so have not done anything towards deciding either way.
Anyway, about these telecast DVD rips.
I PROMISE to get onto it this week ok.
I can't do better than that right now.
So, sometime this week I will convert the DVD and then get the files uploaded.

You are very welcome...just be lucky because I recently have had so much crap from youtube and SONY music about the dylan telecasts stuff on there that I am now in the process of pulling every friggin' video. They can suck it.! I am now looking to which other video site to reupload them to...I am downloading them all now, well, the ones they didn't remove the audio track from or delete that is! :(
So grab the full telecasts from here if you want the better quality... :)

Yes the fact that Sony pull any recognizable music but leave the Boboff his face flicks on line tells you all you need to know about sony. F them. Ive done my best to subscribe to SiriusXM, with some success - only the coverage in outback OZ is intermittant - either from our side or theirs. But I will continue to subscribe and suppport Sirius because I respect a crowd who knew 'What was it we wanted'
