The Dead 60's (2005)
First of all, I have a gripe. The music here is for YOU, but it doesnt magically appear. Its not difficult to find, but still takes a small effort to upload and post on here. So if you download the music, at least make a small effort in return by making a comment - whether positive or negative. Without feedback I'm gonna lose interest. Ok, on to the music...
This is a great debut album (in my opinion) by Liverpool group The Dead 60's. Difficult to pinpoint exactly what genre, although a definite ska/reggae influence is apparent in most tracks, with a bit of funk and rock thrown in to form a distinctive sound.

thanx for posting nice music! it seems you always have to ask for a feedback, just because it's so much going on music wise on the blogger scene. :o)
Always tough to get a response out of us hit-and-run artistes ... I'm a journalist, and believe me the only time I hear anything from anyone is when I fuck up - so lack of response doesn't mean you're not appreciated (at least that's how I justify the lack of ego gratification my stories give me).
Anyway, I will stop this time and say thanks for all yer efforts - your new rig is very 2006 and I'm excited to get the Bedouin Soundclash.

You asked for it, you got it. First, your decision to put the fucking ad as the first thing we see when we come to your "Blog" is messed up. It says "Douchebag" all over it. What kinda arsehole makes us click on something for his gain? A "Douchebag" does, that's who. Why don't you double or triple your "Douchebagness" by every time we click on a music download link, you get more fucking money. Make every rapidshare link have it's own 15 second delay "Douchebag" Ad. That'll get you lots of loyalty.
Second, your choice of music sucks Ass. Where's the additional Hendrix, Marley, etc. that you posted a while ago. Don't you realize you are a providing resource to the new musical generations. They will look to you for guidance and knowledge. With some of the crap you throw up, you might as well be shilling Brutney Sqears or the Backdoor Boys. How else are these Cretinous youngsters gonna learn that before Rock there was Blues and Before Blues, there was...etc.
We look to you, oh intrepid Blogger, to lead the way and cut a wide swath for our footsteps as we forge our way into the future via music from the past.
hey genius, lets see you do what these guys are doing, then we'll compare who's doing a better job. no one asked you to come here and if you didnt like what you saw, then heres a little tip for you: leave.
And if you dont like the music, then go elsewhere to find something you do like. or, god forbid, you could actually be constructive and reccomend some stuff you like to them. if they like it and post it, well done, you helped. or if they say no thanks then walk away and at least be satisfied with the fact you made the effort.
Not everyone likes the same music as you, i mean, do you go to your local music shop and berate people who are buying albums you dont like? no. you dont. (and if you do, then your going to get arrested & rightly so) so suck it up and grow up.
If you do like the site but dont like some of the music, then dont download the stuff you know you wont like. im not a fan of classical music so I didnt download the Mozart they posted on the 1st. its pretty simple. this is a free service they're providing, they have no obligation to do what you want.

Oh, only every site that claims to offer things for free then advertises to you for 10 seconds then asks for you email, spams you and never delivers the thing you were after. Half the gaming sites out there make you watch an advert for 10 seconds to just read a goddamn article.
lastly, "Douchebag"? Really? Is that the best you have? Come on man, this aint the 50s.
Just to calrify:
The ads that are coming from the dot.tk domain which I use as a redirector, are not selected by me. (TK domains are free...but when you get over 1,000 hits a day they force their ads onto you!)
If you were even slightly intelligent you would never see a fucking ad. I don't. there are ways and means of avoiding them and it isn't always by using some shitty popup blocker in your fucking internet explorer or AOL browser you diseased geriatric labia.
I have recently considered stopping the TK redirect but as over half of the hits here use it to get here, and the name is getting well known, i would be a fool to do that. So the only other option is that I give dot.TK some money.
I won't be doing that and I somehow suspect that, if I were to appeal to the users..ie: people like YOU, then the response for donations would be so pathetic as to make me feel sorry for myself for even trying.

It's all subjective and again, probably a subject you know little about.
This site will cater to all genres and styles and looking at the previous offerings, it does it pretty well.
