Rockers - The Original Soundtrack [1978]
Just an album post for you....Not much commentary, a bit busy my friends.

It has taken a long time but well...Life throws shit at you when you aren't wearing your shit-proof coat and so you end up covered in it.
Takes a while to clean off you know ;)

A groundbreaking reggae album!
There is a movie with the same name that was brought out in 1978, Jamaica. It had most of the great reggae artists of the island starring in it!!
Not that there were any great actors amongst them and also the film is probably no better than a Russ Meyer film when it comes to plot and screenplay!
You watch this movie for the MUSIC alone though. There are some good insights into Jamaican life back then and also the rare chance to really see the darker sides of Jamaica in the movie but what grabs you is this fucking brilliant soundtrack!
A few instantly recognisable names here and some(much to my shame) that I hadn't heard of...But am now playing all day long!
NOTE!...I highly recommend the movie to you all!
If anyone has it can I get it from you somehow...pleeeaaase?

I´ve tried to download the rockers file but it seems to be splitted in two parts, and the link gives acces to the first one, can´t find the other part...
Erm yes, it would appear that I am too retarded even for such a simple task as remembering to post BOTH parts of a split archive!

this new hoster I used has a very slow access time. To actually get the webpage up can take a MINUTE OR MORE! But it is a very good speed and the link works fine when you get to downloading it!
Keep trying. Mirrors will be posted anyway but i recomend you trying the host i already posted as its great.

As for the movie, I just ehmm...i got it just a couple of weeks ago.
..but unfortunately..the links are now dead.

Hello there, yes the links are long dead. I do not have the files on my hard drive any more but...
I did a quick search and found the album for you here:
