Bob Dylan Theme Time Radio Hour Episode 58 (S02E08) 'SMOKING' [HIGH QUALITY MP3]

Hello fans.
Another day, another lateness excuse.

Another show!

The links for the latest show are working already on the Dylan Page but if you are a regular user of the mirrored links at other servers then, sorry to inform you but I have decided not to upload to mirrors this week to see how it goes. Still I would ask that anyone with bandwidth to spare uploads the files as a mirror for others. One plain extracted MP3 file and one rar as they are provided is what people seem to like.

The theme for this week is Smoking.
Reminds me of a promise I made to my son that I would give up smoking by christmas! Have to do it one day so I am kind of looking forward to it.
Filthy, filthy habit.
I am so thankful to the British government for taking the choice away from people and forcing every citizen to be a non smoker in public. Especially good of them to make it totally illegal even for a restaurant or bar owner who wishes to have a 'smoking allowed' premises, where the staff are aware and accept the dangers, the clientèle are also obviously smokers and accept their risks too, the owners would even plan to have a very efficient airflow and extraction system. The last part is a little irrelevant but it just shows that they might like to minimise any risks to their staff.
I am just So glad that those places are illegal. Completely removing the choice of people to do themselves harm if they wish is such a great part of our good old British society these days.
I just love it.
Tell you what, even when I no longer smoke I will still have the same opinion.
I don't smoke weed but if there were places where consenting adults went to do so then I wouldn't want to have laws forcing them not to just because THEY were at risk of hurting THEMSELVES. (If they were smoking it and then committing crimes, or affecting others in any detrimental way then yes, there would be a case). The scenario I just described with a smoking bar or restaurant would NOT be hurting anyone except those consenting to the risks so fuck the nanny state.
It makes me more sick than the stink of stale smokers' breath.
Enjoy the show :)
