I do wonder how many ears or eyes this reaches. After so many times of failing to update and being too ill to bother, I developed a slight fear of looking at the site statistics. It used to be a couple of thousand or more a day. I know it isn't that now but I also know I can scale it up again once I am healthier and able to put the work in. When I am able, I still post the same and I would even if YOU were the only visitor.

Today I am happy to announce that, finally, the man who promised to bring you 6 DVD rips of Dylan Telecasts has actually got his finger out of his arse and been working on some DVD Ripping. (Remember Disc One and Disc Two?)
It is here!
Dylan Telecasts Collection, finally I bring you Disc number Three.

It's taken a bit of work and time but I believe the effort is worth it.
I am posting a clip of every track on youtube, as I did in the past, but you will be able to download the higher quality full Avi files of the rip.
I split it into two 700mb avi files encoded with XviD.
So much of this 3rd DVD was taken from old VHS transfers and other sources of varying quality that I'm afraid you just get used to it when you watch. If you were expecting HD then go away now hehe!
Bear in mind though that this is the BEST quality of these recordings to be found anywhere and so very likely no others exist.
The rips I did have not degraded the quality enough for you to notice much. I put the XviD version on my TV and then I put the same track on from the DVD...I really could not tell the difference! Honestly.
So let me just grab and paste a few details about the disc here and then furnish you with the links you will be needing.
Oh and rapidshare links are being uploaded but, not until overnight tonight. They are coming, just be patient if you can only use rapidshare.

Hey thank you so much for the words of encouragement mate. I've been getting so damn ill lately that it's been difficult just getting my head around, or physically being able to sit and do anyhting on the PC some days.
Which is a horrible situation for someone you might consider to be addicted to computers generally from fixing them to building them to my favourite pastime, the internet!
It's nice to know that you take notice when I do get to update the place and also that you're still enjoying the stuff I put up.

Hello, I had to drop a Thank You for the Bob Dylan video's !!! I just watched part two and was glued to the monitor and can't wait for the download of part three. Truly a labor of love and I'm most grateful for your efforts... I was sidelined by cancer a few years ago and have found allot of solace in the music you and a few other bloggers have made available so selflessly. I hope with all my heart that you are doing well !!! and plan to continue to follow your post's and thoughts for a long time to come... Thank You much.

Glad you're enjoying these great videos. Some of the stuff is brilliant eh. I am now about to upload another good one...a lot of people will have seen this but I suspect just as many will not - Dylan doing a press conference in san Francisco, 1965. Known as the only complete press conference he ever did or that was ever aired in full, it's great to watch and I'm sure a few visitors here will appreciate it.
My copy is from the bootleg DVD, 'Just a Song n Dance Man' which I was going to post in full until I ripped the DVD and saw that all the other stuff on it is already replicated in the Telecasts DVDs, so I just took the press conference out of it and will post that on it's own...
Anyway...should be soon.

Thanks for the Videos,but do you have to use paylesssoft and lix.in links? I can't enter these links inmy download manager so I'm stuck doing one at a time.

Erm, yes.
the thing is, those links to rapidshare last longer when I post them via those other sites so it is in your and my interest for me to do so.
by the way, it puts a whole lot more time and hassle on my end having to do it too so you are not the obnly one taking extra time to enable you to download the files.
elax, one at a time is better than none right?
So many sites I visit that I get a bit irritated by exactly the same thing...the inability for me to just copy a load of links and put them into orbitdownloader or another downloading program. I did discover that some downloaders will still work with lix.in at least...not sure about paylesssofts.
If you try jdownloader then it can handle you pasting in a load of links that are to lix.in and it works it all out and will download them for you. Also it can be used to download from RS as a free user, reconnecting you to change your IP in between downloads, so you can download continually - if you want. Oh and if you have a dynamic IP that is, which I don't!
A note about JDownloader. I used to use it and I LOVEd it but then they brought out a new version and it just kept freezing on me and was no longer the same great program. A lot of people will argue that it is still great, some even say better than it used to be but I just can't be bothered trying it anymore as my previously favourite downloader for filehosts, 'cryptload' is now fully working again after it having had a time where it was shite too!
I recommend it but as for it using lix.in links like I described JDownloader can do, I really am not sure.
