PLEASE VOTE IN THE POLL!

Well folks, I continue to bring you this great collection...Volume Eleven is no less interesting.
Enjoy.
You want more information on this? Of course you do..well go and read it here.

Please...no more pseudo-political comments. I am becoming bored with this incessant stream of fools who see some imagined link between 'The Music Of Islam' and the religion of Islam.
Fuck me!
This IS AN MP3 FORUM!
(well, blog actually.)
A forum would be something like this.
Sign up there, you'll find it interesting, probably. Maybe not.
Anyway If you are the one that voted for 'Fuck Off and get a job you bastard' in my poll then I must say this to you: Fuck you, you bastard!
Hehe.

what are we gonna do if you post Om Khaltoum?
change our religion, stop watching TV and listen to mp3s with eyes closed?

queremos: Some Compil CDs?
Hmm. Is it that you are just that much more cultured than the rest of us or could it be that we appreciate not only the music but the journey and story behind the coming together of musicians and subsequently the creation of 'some compil Cds'. You are a fool.
Worry not, I won't be posting any Om Karthoum. I expect people not to change their religions my foolish friend. I abhor the many ways that religion gets used out of context. This is one of them.
Listen to MP3s with your eyes closed...yes a great idea! Don't do it whilst driving though
;)

uff,
i must have a difficult to understand sense of humour or somebody needs some relax. I am sorry. All I pretended is to introduce the idea that if we could access the top of the top of oriental music (not music of islam, in my opinion a wrong name) then we would see weird reactions. I was wrong with "compil", of course, i apologize.

Dave: there are good recordings of Om, specially love the very last ones, i will search some (not needed to provoke me...). of course everytime you can hear the emotion of the audience and sense the room, but i adore them like that.

in the meantime, I uploaded 1st part of a nice recording by Luis Delgado called Tanger, recorded last year in morocco. This man drives a record company called Pneuma of medevial music, owns an important instrument museum.... In the 80s he did the music for a Spanish TV serie called Alquibla (2CDs) in which he recreates with his own attitude atmospheres of the arab world. very talented.

And with this act of contriction i hope to contribute to world peace, salam aleikum habibis!

Hi. I love this series. Already had a couple and truly appreciate the opportunity to get more when I have no money. With volume 11, though, I had downloading trouble. I took both parts, but got only tracks 1, 2, 3 and 7. Was I doing something wrong? Any suggestions on how to get the missing tracks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Tom

All I can suggest is that you download the files again. It is all present and correct. Make sure you open the part 1 file and then extract all of the mp3s. Only do this when you have download all the parts to the set, then you will see the full album inside instead of only some tracks. Hope that helps.
