As I post this one I am wondering just how many unintelligent americans have decided to boycott my site. Posting something that has the words Islam in the title can be quite insulting/frightening/horrific, possibly threatening to the average unintelligent american.
Note: I mean the average unintelligent american and not that the average american is unintelligent!! I am ONLY speaking about the americans that are unintelligent here ok, so if that isn't you, don't be offended.
I have had a few emails about my supposed islam loving and other names the unintelligent have called me.
(Fucking reprobates)...I am surprised they even know how to use windows and manage to get online!
So now I am on to volume twelve and, arrgghhh! it contains the word IRAN in the title!
Say goodbye to another hundred ignoramuses that think Iran is a threat.
Don't get me wrong here, I think Iran is a threat. Indeed I do. Yet I also know America and the UK are a threat too. I still like british and american music and no less Iranian music so fuck it all.
This isn't about politics! It's about music damnit!

about "music of islam", i've been receiving some great words about that special collection, includyin one from penny lane, the communitys owner. she - and other guys - are really enjoying it.
and so do i.
as "the doors" used to say, people are reaaally strange. as an ex-blogger and actual fotologger, just don't understand why, among a lot of nice words, just 1 bad comment make us so sad, or angry... then we move our attention to that bad thing, not for hundreds of nice ones...
so, if you allow me to say, never mind the bollocks!!!heheheehehe forget about that sickminded person. if he/she isn't able to understand that we are just talking about music, wich is a part from the universal culture, just let him/her go...

hi there. sorry haven't been back in a while.
to continue our conversation from several weeks ago, Gamelan is a form of metal percussion orchestra of Indonesia. the word means the ensemble of instruments, but has come to mean the form of music played with it, which is the official classical music of the region. it can have up to 30 or 40 players, who play small bells to giant bass gongs, and the music is like the most advanced, mind boggling, and tight as FUCK mathematical yet just gorgeous clusters of ringing, harmonizing tones. sometimes there is flute with it, sometimes voice. Gamelan from Bali is fast and spectacular, Gamelan from Java is meditative and poetic. and there are also lesser forms of Gamelan from the surrounding forests and such; Gamelans made out of wood or bamboo, and each region has it's own distinctive tradtion and sound. but all are other worldly and some of the most jaw droppingly amazing music on earth.

I hate to think my fellow Americans would be as close-minded and ignorant to the great musics of other cultures as you indicate, but then again you are probably right ;-(. Here is one American who thinks this is grand and wondeful stuff, thanks.
And to those who don't 'get it', may I recommend the wonderful 'Beats Of The Heart' series of documentaries on Yazoo, following the 'Romany Trail' alone should show just how connected we all are by music, despite the differences in scales/tunings, instruments, and dialect.

Also I accept that there are lots of Americans who do understand that music is grander than any religion or war related shite going on in this fucked up world of ours right now....it is nice to get the confirmation though so thanks for that ;)
And the joke sums it up really. You do realise that a lot of people would question your rights to freedom of speech if you were to tell that joke too much?
Anyway, I don't agree with the fanatical freedom of speech reaction to those damn cartoons, though I see they were offensive, but then, do I agree with Austria locking the right dishonourable David Irving up for three years?
It's not an easy one to call is it?
