Ok people. If I have to write any more ass-licking David Bowie comments I will feel too sick to carry on with anything else around here so:

Seriously, this last one is still a treat in many ways(not only because it's the last one! hehe). The sound quality on this live session recorded from Radio 2 in September 2002, is great and he does some of my favourite tracks from Heathen.
You can listen to this and realise just how great Bowies voice sounds in recent years, compare it with his early stuff and maybe come to the same conclusion as I did: I can't decide which I like more. They are equally entertaining. His mature voice is brilliant and I love some of his more recent tracks like Cactus and Never Get Old but I also love his youthful sounding voice with tracks like Time, Changes and Aladdin Sane!
Maybe there is no comparison, or shouldn't be.
Oh well.
To go from such a master of music to a bunch of masturbators of music, ie. XTC, will not be an easy task.
No one said life was easy.

Thanx for all the Bowie Boots.. really excellent stuff, keeping on coming in daily, might skip the XTC ones though :o)
Can we also agree that, besides his works with Tin Machine, we also ... disapprove of his Marilyn-blond hairdo and we do prefer his darker, cooler, longer, more flattering, duke-deserving, not-only-I-am-the-best-but-I-am-also-handsome-enough-to-marry-a-gorgeous-super-model look ?

:)About his appearance..Hmm I don't want to sound too gay but I find myself agreeing with what you say! He suits the dark look.

that is unless its 80's bowie, then nevermind...
