**MIRROR LINKS ADDED** Ultimate Dylan - The Man in video [Volume 1] -- Bob Dylan DVD Exclusive Rare Etc..get it here! --

UPDATE 0n 4th July. MIRROR LINKS ADDED!

The Cover.

Ok Folks, this has taken considerable time and effort to put together. I am very proud to be bringing you this and I hope it is appreciated.

Let me introduce you to my latest project, and the BEST offering you will have seen on this site thus far(and any other site for that matter!).

Ultimate dylan - The Man in video [Volume 1]

As you know it was fathers day not too long ago. Well, I am guilty of never really bothering too much with it and neglecting the old man. Now that I am a dad myself, and as I got a card from my 5yr old it made me think...what could I possibly give my dad that he would actually appreciate? I mean, he is like me when it comes to commercialism and hallmark cards have no sentiment or meaning at all for him...or me. they stink. So I decided on a huge project. He is a life long Dylan fan and has a lot of his stuff. I decided I would make him a professional quality DVD of the rarest Dylan video/live sets I could find. I have been looking for a lonmg time in all corners of the net and eventually I had enough for a DVD...and a lot more as it worked out! (volume 2!)
I sent it to him the other day and he was sooo happy it made it all worth it.
Anyway, I am not toally stupid. I also had the site in mind when producing this DVD. I have made it as professional as can be, covers and a pretty good looking CD printout too.
So let me bring you the post of the year. I am proud to be bringing you this my friends. Please, be patient and try to get it. You will not regret it believe me!!

Here are some details I wrote out for it earlier...

Whats on the DVD?
Here is a collection of 39 videos/Live songs. The videos are a glimpse into dylans changes over the years. Watch him singing nervously live in 1963, in such brilliant voice, then skip forward a bit to certain tracks from the '80's which, even for a fan are painful to watch! Although it is difficult to put so many years into one DVD, this goes at least some of the way to doing just that. The DVD is region free (plays in most any player) and is 4:3 aspect ratio in NTSC format.
It has been produced to a high standard with menus, etc.
There are coverscans included and a CD scan too.
You can play all or browse through each video title which are all dated, and simply select the one you choose to watch.

More detailed:

DVD Format: NTSC
Aspect: 4:3 (fullscreen)
Region: Region Free
Video: 2699Kb
Audio: 224kb Stereo
Size: 4.01 GB

These are not all 'videos' as such. I mean, not music videos as we now know them. There are a lot of LIVE DYLAN sets on here. Each one is a single song except for a couple which contain two or three in the one movie.
The quality of film and Dylans voice on the earlier movies..from 1963, 1965, 1967 are just brilliant. It reminds you of just what a great voice Bob had...as a lot of people know him and respect him only for his lyrcal abilites, it is refreshing to see him as a young lad, singing so well and showing such poetry in lyrics that it defies his age.
The movies are in order so, when you watch, you can easily see the changes over the decades. There is one in particular where Dylan goes from a '70's hippie looking dude to the next film where he looks like a pale faced phazed out druggie. Quite horrific really.
Then there are the videos from the '80's. It would seem that Dylan, whether due to bad advice or his own decision, tried to embrace the world of the pop music video that suddenly became the 'thing' back then. He fails so miserably at this that it made me cringe. His cool style is contradicted by the cheesey, tacky videos(also the songs weren't exactly up to much those few years either). They are worth seeing for the sheer contrast they give you to the idea you have about the man!
---------
This is planned to be the first in many series of bootleg cuts and music vids DVDs I am planning. Your feedback will let me know if I can improve upon or maybe you would like me to do one for a particular artist you fancy seeing?

[Oh and I know there is one title image missing..and I know the credits are too long but just press NEXT!]

Anyway. I have spent so long on this project and then the uploading so I sincerely hope you like it.

I hope you enjoy.
Look out for Volume 2 soon.

If the links seem a bit daunting to you, I agree...took long enough to upload!
There will be a torrent for this going around later today so look out for that. ;)

Now let me say something here...
I know it sucks but I put the paypal button up on the left to attempt to collect any donations. I would be grateful if you would consider this upload as one that is worthy of such a thing. Please give anything you can.
It all helps.
Thanks.

Hey good stuff. If you need a mirror link, let me know. I have a full set but decided to keep them off the site and give them out personally. That way they may last longer!

Hey man - Great post! Only thing is that I have Rapget and as far as I know it does not work with Megaupload, at least mine does not. Is there a new version that works?? I also made the mistake of renaming all the downloads from 30 and up as .rar files so now I have to download all the files from 30 and up AGAIN(!) - - Any suggestions?
Thanks again

Why the hell did you rename a split rar file set??!!!!
That is just er...stupid!
hehe. Oops!
I have a set of mirror links now that I am posting here for badongo and some for sendspace. Why not get the remaining files from the torrent file? If you use utorrent, you can select only to download those files that you need from the set. Get it, its soooo easy!
Adivice: Dont EVER rename a set of rar files. If they were meant to be renamed they friggin already would be!
Hehe what a laugh you gave me!

I'm glad I made you laugh. There's never enough laughter around. The reason why I renamed the files is because I have had to do this quite a few times before - maybe not with your posts - and that worked then - so this was not as stupid as you say. But I'm glad I made your day.
I'm doing the torrent now, for the first time and it takes forever...but thanks anyway for the tip.

Hope you manage to get the dvd from bit torrent and not have to wait toooo long. there are a lot of people on it now so its going pretty fast opnce you let it settle in!
Just remember ok...don't rename rar files unless you have tried every way of opening them. Or, better still, click and highlight the whole lot of them and then drag them with a right click to a different directory and COPY them into it. Then go back and rename and mess around with the originals. That way if you mess them up, you still have copies so you know which file is which!
Anyway it wasn't that funny. I was exaggerating.
Got any jokes?

Just wanted to be another person stepping out from the downloading crowd and offering an appreciative comment... I stumbled in for the Dylan shows (thanks), have enjoyed sampling all of the other offerings (more thanks)... and am now just starting on the Dylan video torrent (super thanks). So thank you to anyone putting effort into this site.

I am so glad people are enjoying this DVD! The donations are appreciated too by the way. It makes all the time and effort more worth it for me. Thank you!

I am currently toying around with some Hendrix rare shit and seeing what I can do DVD wise with it. Also got some other stuff of Dylan but need a bit more to complete a full DVD so I will carry on collecting!
Cheers for now.

Hit Me, take pity on poor anonymous™. A different anonymous here. The chappie apparently is having a bad day. I for one appreciate the winrar info on your site. I'm using OSX and I did discover that even the stuffit utility i had already paid for worked as well as the other stuff. One thing I did discover is that...drumroll...UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ATTEMPT TO RE-NAME THESE FILES.

I d/l all the bits at work--sticking it to the man--and burned them onto several CDRs, brought them home, copied them onto a new folder on my olde mac, then unrarred them. It worked on the second try, oddly enough. Can't explain that much. The first try was sketchy, "looking" for files that were obviously there. So I re-booted my machine and let it blow it's nose. Also needed a good bit of time to do this, probably because it's 4 gigs o' goodies.

now I would take both of you to task for getting all out of sorts. it's not like it's football. it's just music. it's supposed to make us feel good. I would say unto anonymous™--when you get angry at your computer or poor Hit Me, who's in charge? Who has the power? How can you dig Dylan and be yelling at each other like this?

Hey anonymous...you know you're right mate./ I admit I came online after having a crapper of a day..just pain and illness mixed with the intense heatwave etc etc and the first thing I read was the obnoxious comment by anonymous mark I! I lost it. Totally went for the jugular.
I looked at the comments just now in the cold light of the next day and realised how much of a twat it made me look, and the other guy. So removed it all!
thanks for being the voice of reason hehe.

Pity the poor juggler. . .

Excellent video! What a treasure! (I'm also a Mac OSX user who has no end of troubles extracting rar archives--but it finally worked.)

I'm sending a little money, but I'm just a poor juggler, so I don't have much.

I definitely encourage you to do a second one!

Hey joe the juggler, I am just glad you liked it!
I went to your site but couldn't get it to work...my browser is refusing to play flash for some reason...so I get stuck at a blank, first page - you don't have any kind of detection set up there so that it could automatically move on to an HTML page if no flashplayer was found(hint hint..?) sound like a good idea to me..or a small html textlink at the bottom of the flash area.
Anyway hopefully I'll get to see it soon.
Thanks for the donation too mate.
Cheers!
