V.A. - Cafe del Mar - Vol. 12 [2005]

The album of today, as you might guess, is in fact a favourite of mine. The Cafe Del Mar series is a long lasting and credible one.
They are onto their 12th compilation release and this one is better than what came before. For a while I was wondering about their credibility after the last couple or three but with Volumen Doce or Vol. 12 we have a winner. From the first track you know what you are in for and it is pure upbeat ambience with latino, spanish and many influences and fusions of genres and cultural sounds.

Call it mainstream, call me unoriginal. Some may even call it Liberal-pussy-pothead-music(only the far right lunatics would do that last one but fuck them right?).
Do I look like I care for your moronic opinion? Oh ye of barely enough intellect to read as far as 'all files will have the password.etc etc' before rushing me an ill-written email of CAPITAL LETTERS and the words 'WOTS TEH PASS?'
Arrgghh. I fucking hate you. I hate you all.
I am talking directly to YOU: The internet generation. All of THEM.
Not people like ME. We grew up, yes we have now ADOPTED the internet into our lives and some(me?) use it too much but YOU internet generation kids are bad. You're fucked up and you do nothing else BUT fuck up. We hate you.
We fucking despise you.
You live in the internet. You think abbreviations like *C U L8R* and *BBL* and *ROFLMAO* are cool. You don't know any better(aaaw bless.. FUCK OFF!) but why don't you go read a book and discover your in-built 'longer-than-30 seconds' attention span that believe it or not, we humans do possess.
And I don't even want to see your fucking mobile phone!! ARRGGHH!
Shit.
The real subjects/targets of this will already have stopped reading and clicked onto something else. That is the problem with these NEt-Heds. You can't even tell them how wrong they are unless you use abbreviated language and keep your sentences down to about 6 words or less, whilst in a chat room or some other such instant messenger sad-no-life program. Unless you want to text them on their mobile(!!!!!)
Oh FUCK THEM.
Is it me or does it seem like the net is populated by millions of teenagers who are unable to read, write or spell yet have the greatly enviable knack of random spontaneous abuse?
Fuckers.
I blame the bad parents. These lazy bastards who don't get off their arses, much rather the kids -who are adults really- get out of their sight and don't bother them with their latest suicide website or massive collection of bestiality or kiddie porn that their unmonitored net access has allowed them.
But, who cares?
Not me.
