Paolo Nutini LIVE at T in the Park 2009

Hello folks.
I know. It's been too long. Let's just get straight to todays offering which I am rather pleased to be bringing you, not only for the fact that you will NOT find this anywhere else but here!
An exclusive no less!

Over recent month's I have become a fan of this guy Paolo Nutini. His voice is just excellent, real soul.
I was surprised to learn he is from a town called Paisley, near Glasgow in Scotland.
Why?
well just take it from me, I've been there a few times and it isn't the sort of place you'd expect singing to come from. apart from the singing drunks that are in the streets that is.
It's not the most pleasant place you can visit. Apologies to anyone from there but it's really a dump. Or how can I put it? the people there are a bit um.. boisterous?
That's one way of putting it.
I think it's safe to say that if you go there, not knowing anyone, trying to go to one of the pubs for a quiet drink, you may find yourself getting either threatened or just subjected to random attacks of a violent nature! Hehe! It happens!
On with this music...
I searched all over for such a long time, trying to locate what I knew had been released on newsgroups, which I do not subscribe to. I did in the past but I couldn't justify the massive amount of downloading and was requiring too much hard drive space! (Don't let me put you off cos' those ads on the left there for usenext, that's the place I used and you really do have free reign to download everything and I mean so much stuff that you end up going a bit mad at first! Plus so much of it never makes it to torrent land or elsewhere so can be handy).
So there I was searching the net for this file and eventually I actually found it waahaaaay!
Paolo Nutini Live at T in the Park, the video of it.
I have uploaded this file and will be posting it tomorrow but, for now I am giving you the audio which I ripped from the movie.
The format wasn't MP3 to start with it was mp2 which most people wouldn't want. I therefore converted it with the least possible quality loss. Decode to WAV, then recode to MP3 with a high bitrate.
It sounds great.
His performance on this is fucking amazing.
Seriously.
I may be biased of course, being such a fan already but, have a listen and tell me different!
He only has two albums out and it seems that bootlegs are a rare thing of his shows. there is one going around from 2009, a gig at Dunfermline in Scotland. I have this too but the audio quality is baaad.
An audience recording and it's just poor really.
It's worth a listen if you're a fan but, even then, it's hard to say anything other than it sounds like shit!
This one, on the other hand is crystal clear!
Ok, I'll leave it at that for now.

If you have been living in a box (as I apparently had been, being so late to discover this guy when the rest of the world knew of him ages ago/!) then have a read at
wikipedia
and familiarise yourself with the guys story.

Then have a listen to some brilliant music.
The movie of this show will be posted tomorrow and, as it was in .mkv format, I have made and up,loaded two versions. A divx avi file and the original mkv file for those that prefer it.
Both are great.

Thanks for this. My Mum is obsessed with the guy. (Which at her age is a bit embarrassing but not so much as when she went through her hip-hop phase). Now I can give her this and get more brownie points than I would with the usual box of Maltesers!

Haha!!!
You made me burst out laughing there!!!
My Mum is really into him too!!
But then I can actually see her point this time, unlike her Barry Manilow phase!!
I really do think this guy has an amazing musical ... um, spirit. (I usually avoid using such words but he just has that 'something' in him and it comes out when he sings!)
Glad you can get this for your Mum...no doubt she will love it.
I am going to post the video of it tomorrow so don't miss that. I do have another 2009 show of him in Amsterdam and for a bootleg, it's a nice sounding copy. so I'll post that soon too.
Cheers and thanks for the comment. It's nice top know what people think ...
